Former Google Leader Alap Ghosh to Oversee Media-Tech Integration at Assembly India

Mumbai: Assembly, a global omnichannel media agency under the Stagwell network, has announced the appointment of Alap Ghosh as its first-ever Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for India.

With this strategic leadership move, Assembly aims to unify its national operations across Mumbai and Bangalore, strengthen its omnichannel offerings, and accelerate growth in one of its fastest-evolving markets.

Alap Ghosh, a former Google India executive, will assume his new position effective August 1, 2025, and report directly to Matt Adams, Global COO of Assembly.

With over 25 years of experience across digital marketing, advertising technology, and enterprise data solutions, Ghosh brings a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on operational leadership to the role.

Alap Ghosh: Proven Track Record in Digital Innovation

Prior to joining Assembly, Alap Ghosh served as Head of Data and Technology Partnerships at Google India, where he led digital transformation and marketing tech strategy for enterprise clients.

His earlier stints include senior leadership roles at Jellyfish and founding a data consultancy. His career spans expertise across programmatic platforms, martech solutions, innovation management, and full-stack revenue functions.

As CEO, Ghosh will oversee the integration of Assembly’s core media, creative, technology, and commerce services in India. His mandate includes building a unified operational framework, expanding client relationships, and driving performance-led brand strategies across industries.
